The core numeric system

Picture
The numeric system of Core plays a very large part throughout the age.

It is based off the 60 main positions that Core takes while it floats around in space. One number for every position.

Some background info about these positions is that the first 20 are positions where Core is very close to a star called Eranious. While in these positions Core is burning hot and no life can survive.

The middle 20 are where Core is farther away from Eranious but not so far that there is no heat. During these positions Core is a lovely cool temperature with a slight solar wind blowing through. For now , things can grow and the scholars where able to come out of Eurfin which serves as a refuge during the lifeless positions of Core.

The Last 20 are where Core is so far away from any star that everything freezes over.

The reason this number system is not the D'ni system is because that there were already inhabitants on this age and this is there system.

The light disk puzzle

WARNING PUZZLE SPOILER!

Once you have trekked across the islands , reached Eurfin , and turned on the towers power you may now notice a large room with a platform in the middle , much like a turn table. In fact it is!

This turn table has two parts. The gate and the bridge. The gate once worked but now does not open. The bridge however does work. You must get the bridge to turn to your destination without the gate in front.

The way this puzzle plays is that you must use the two mirrors in the center ( moving one will move the other ) to line up two streams of light onto the correct symbols. Answers will vary depending on where you are going.

Each symbol represents a specific area in Eurfin. The  padlock represents the vault. Moon - balcony. Telescope - Observatory. Three rectangles - storage. Two rectangles - Library. Circle with lightning bolt - Generators. Flower - Greenhouse. Bed - Living Quarters. Scroll - Archives. Pickax / sword - armory. Circle with stars - Outside. Dot with three lines - Terrace.

The Generator Puzzles

WARNING PUZZLE SPOILER!

The Core generator puzzles all revolve around the generators about the age. The first puzzle must be done on generator 1 on the link in land mass and involves controlling the position of a satellite with nobs so power may be collected and distributed. The second puzzle involves directing the collected power to each of the other generators. Once you direct the power to a generator you must then reach that generator and switch it on and the puzzle continues from there. The third generator puzzle must be done on the seventh generator within Eurfin and uses power directed to generator seven to be sent through multiple splits and breakers in the wire system so that all of the facilites of Eurfin may run. The symbols on generator puzzle each represent a specific facility which are listed below.

Three blocks : Storage or Warehouse     Padlock : Vault     Moon : Balcony     Telescope : Observatory

Bed : Residential Floor     Lightning in circle : Generator room     Pick/Sword : Armory     Scroll : Archives

Dot with three lines erupting from it : Terrace / Main attuner     Book : Library     Flower : Greenhouse
